he'd expected to potentially need to head out, so he pulls the door closed once he's in the hallway but still manages to get in a scowl at kitten for good measure. really, so not complaining about a free meal. but people might get the wrong idea if he doesn't seem put out. ]
Seems like more effort than just invitin' me out some time as payback...
[ not that he'd ask for help or anything but if he's hoping to get any from the staff he's probably making it worse with the sour look on his face. ]
But this is peacetime. Might as well find somethin' else to do for a while...
